This American white pelican (Pelecanus erythrorhynchos) and these double-crested cormorants (Phalacrocorax auritus) were splashing around in a marsh at Great Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma, United States on November 15, 2018. The pelican was landing while one cormorant was taking off and the other cormorant was watching all of the action.
