Two Wilson's Snipes (Gallinago delicata) were watching Mallards (Anas platyrhynchos) at Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma, United States on December 2, 2021. The snipes are very good at hiding. When I was young, there were jokes about snipe hunting and I did not know that these birds really exist.
